About Peyton

8-9 year old beautiful sweet Fox Hound needs new home. We have had Peyton for 3 years. He needs to be an inside dog where he can be away from loud noises, lightening, fireworks or gunshots, he's very sensitive to those sounds. We call him lovingly Eyor from Winnie the Pooh. 'Oh bother!' His good qualities are he is very quiet, an excellent house dog, yet needs a fenced in yard for exercise. He absolutely loves children. He gets along well with my cat. He is not a good guard dog or protective dog, but neither is he aggressive. Never has he barked at a human, only possums, raccoons and such. He is house-trained and lets you know when he needs to go out, never excited. He is fixed and up on his shots and had his health check-up last month. He weighs 52 lbs. We can no longer keep him because of the continual dog hair that I physically cannot keep up with, nor giving him a bath. He definitely needs a loving Forever Home. He does come with a kennel and raised bed. He is on K9 Advantage II Flea, Tick and Mosquito Prevention and HeartGard.
