About Lewis

Lewis is a 1 year old Border Terrier mix looking for a loving forever family to help him live his very best life. He is the sweetest boy who will follow his people wherever they go! He can be timid initially, but offering him some hot dogs quickly wins his friendship. He will need a mature adult home, 18+ only. Lewis is the perfect mix of a laid-back hangout buddy and a goofy playmate. He loves toys, especially really big stuffed toys! He is great at keeping himself entertained with his stuffies when his people are busy. He needs a fenced-in yard to run and play in, but he also walks well on a leash and enjoys going on adventures with his people. He would prefer to be your one and only, but may get along with a female dog smaller than him who he would need to meet first. Lewis is not a cat man and will need a feline free home. He is mostly house broken, but may need reminders and patience while he adjusts in his home. He weighs in at 35 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee of $120 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
