About Wanda

This post is going out with a prayer that the right special angel is reading this to take sweet Wanda . Rescue friends! 911 situation in Brooklyn! Wanda was adopted from the ACC two years ago after being in an abusive situation. As a result she is very afraid of other dogs and has developed fear based aggression. Her mom has worked with her extensively but she recently got out of their apartment and bit a dog in the building and she cannot stay in the building now. She is in a temporary home but can't stay there much longer. If she ends up in a shelter she will likely be euthanized. For the last two years she has lived with a special needs child and was great. She was even very gentle with two foster kittens! Wanda is 4 years old, 75 lbs , she is up to date on shots, spayed, very healthy, loves her crate, she's quiet, has no resource guarding at all, and doesn't chew on anything or get into things at home. Other than not being able to be around other dogs she's a wonderful dog and her mom is doing everything she can to help find a place for her. Please share far and wide to save Wanda's life! She needs a place to stay for 6 months until her mom can find a new place to live or she is willing to rehome her if it will save her life. PLEASE HELP SAVE WANDA!
