About Mick

Hello! My name is Mick and I'm an 8 year old, medium sized Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Healer, and my foster describes me as the biggest lovable sweetheart! - I'm calm and quiet at first but as soon as you get me out of my shell, I'm such a sweet pup! My fosters have been oh so patient with me which has helped me come out of my shell and my active playful side. - My corneas are scratched so I have watery eyes and will need to be given eye drops, but it doesn't slow me down. - Kisses and cuddles please! I am such a lover once I'm comfortable and want to cover you in kisses any chance I get. - Shy boy! I'm a shy guy at first but once I know my humans I'm a different dog! My fosters say I 'own the house' now versus when I first got there I was even too scared to use the stairs. I mean stairs look scary to other people too, right? - Potty training in progress! I'm honestly really good, I've just had a few accidents when I wasn't sure how to communicate about going outdoors. - No barking! The only thing you'll hear out of me is a 'sweet whimper.' - Submissive and cautious is my default. I haven't been around dogs yet but when I've been on walks I've had the habit of grabbing onto my humans legs when I'm not sure about something to see what they think. - Need something? Have a treat?
