About Petra

Meet Petra! She is ready for her forever family! This beautiful bully mix is kid and cat friendly but should be the only dog in the house. She LOVES to cuddle and doesn't understand personal space, she is a 40lb lap dog for sure! Petra came as a stray and is estimated to be 2-5 years old. Her foster mom reports that 'is pretty calm but gets super excited to see her humans. She loves to cuddle on the porch. She loves food and sitting in your lap. Petra is also crate trained'. Like with every dog we recommend following a two week shutdown to help ensure success in your adoption. Petra has been vet checked, is UTD on shots, dewormed with Drontal, on Heartgard and Flea/Tick Prevention. She is also microchipped. As previously stated, she is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment (started in September).
