About Lady

Lady is a beautiful young orange and white Setter found as a stray in rural Oklahoma. She is estimated at 3 years old but the rest of her background is a mystery and she's not telling. No one came forward after a search for her owner and Southwest English Setter Rescue stepped up to help her. �'�� Lady appears to be house and crate trained. She initially did not think a crate was for her but now goes in willingly for a treat. She has started to like the crate more since she is getting fed in the crate too. Lady is very happy to meet other friendly dogs, and is curious and playful with those she has met so far. Her foster home has a sweet male blackmouth cur and an independent female small terrier mix that she has befriended. She loves to curl up on the sofa next to you in the evenings and dream of chasing birds while you read or watch television. Lady will need a 6' secure fence and a home with no cats. �'�� Lady is extremely interested in birds in the yard and will patrol looking for them. She is a medium energy girl and will self exercise but would not like to be left alone in the yard for a long period of time. As long as she's had enough outside time she will relax inside. Like most Setters, Lady pulls a bit on the leash but she really enjoys going for walks and does settle down after a few blocks. She is looking for an active family to call her own. �'�� Lady is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped and is ready to find her forever home. She is in a foster home in Edmond, OK.
