About Rocky

URGENT! URGENT! URGENT! Rocky Road is Rescue ONLY! He has until 10/9/20, at 5pm, for a rescue to step up to save him. A homeowner woke up one morning to find Rocky tied to their trampoline. They said that they had no idea where he came from, so they called Animal Control to come to pick him up. As you can see, Rocky is a very handsome boy. He likes to play ball and, after getting acquainted, he is friendly and affable. He would probably be best as an only pet. Someone sent us a message on our FB page, with a photo, asking if we had the dog in the picture. I told them that the dog, in the photo, is at the shelter. The person making the inquiry said it wasn't their dog, but they knew who he belonged to. I told them to ask the people to come to reclaim him because he was at risk of euthanasia. The people never came to pick him up! The problem that Rocky has is that when they went to vet him, and give him vaccinations, it was necessary to muzzle him for the vetting. He will need some rehabilitation to help him get used to body handling. Right now the shelter is filling up, and we may need to 'make space'. Right now, Rocky is at the top of that list for euthanasia. If you can save Rocky please PM this page for more information.
