About Teddy the cuddle bear

Howdy! My name is Teddy, and I'm a cuddly, playful yellow and white 45-pound Labrador/ Boxer/ Black Mouth Cur mix fella who was born in February 2019. I have a magnificent physique -- my long legs are almost those of a racehorse. I'm alert, self-assured, and friendly with people as well as other dogs. (However, I do need to be fed separately from other dogs as I get aggressive protecting my food. For that reason, just to be safe I should not be adopted into a family with small children.) I guess you're wondering how a near-perfect dude like me ended up being homeless. Unfortunately, I was a victim of human callousness as I was dumped at Donna's boarding/ grooming salon -- through no fault of my own. Who knows what prompted my surrender, but maybe my owner lost his job and just couldn't afford to feed and vet me any more during these uncertain financial times. No worries -- it was the first day in the rest of my life, as far as I'm concerned, in that I'm getting lots of attention, exercise, and tender, loving care. I'm looking forward to our sharing the joys of a dog park together. Aren't I just the canine companion whom you've been looking for? Teddy is updated on shots, neutered, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully trained (behavior and crate). His adoption fee is $250 for dogs older than 9 months. An application must be filled out prior to adoption.
