About Angel

This beloved dog needs a new forever home due to truly heartbreaking circumstances. Angel, a house trained 7 year old, 50 lb purebred Red-Nosed Pit, was adopted by her mom at 8 weeks old. Tragically, her mom passed away very unexpectedly, and Angel needs a new wonderful forever home ASAP. Angel's grandmother says, 'Angel has lost the only mom she has ever known, her family, her home, and now even our home. We will miss her terribly, but we take comfort knowing she's going to find another loving and caring family. Angel is a sensitive girl who was treated like a baby for all 7 years of her life. My daughter spoke to her in` baby talk (except when she needed to be reprimanded, in which case a stern 'no' usually does the trick). Angel is such a sweet and gentle girl who loves to snuggle, enjoys cuddling on the couch( so hopefully she's welcome on yours), LOVES squeaky toys and bully sticks, walks nicely on a leash, enjoys a good sun bathing session (as she simultaneously protects the yard from predators), knows many commands, and her game of choice is tug-of-war. Unfortunately, she was attacked by another dog, so she'd do best as an only dog. She has a worn and ripped 'baby' blanket that she 'suckles' like a pacifier when she is content. She's protective of 'her' yard with strangers or other animals, but she is very good with ALL people and has been great with kids (they've all been 12+). Angels is one very special lovable dog who has lost so much in life already and will give you all of her love. I pray for a family who will give her the love she deserves.
