About Halo

Meet Halo. This lovely lady is wicked bright, with days and days of smiles and will do stupid dog tricks if you have a chuck it in your hand. She is an aging mellow lover who loves walking twice a day. She stays close to home and if the gate is accidentally left open, rested assured, she will be waiting with a smile on the front porch when you return. She's low maintenance about all things except smaller animals and kids. She came from some trauma early in her first year but with tons of support from her number one man, Michael, she has become an excellent listener. She is only up for a home now as he passed due to a wicked cancer bout. I love this pup tremendously and am very pained to find someone for her but I have cats and kids. I won't release her to just anyone. This girl used to live with another fine soul, Ike, a pure bread Australian Shepard. They were the best of friends and went everywhere as a pack. A larger make dog scenario could be very nice for her to experience. She's not big on competition on the ladies front. If you have a giant open heart for a girl whose seem more than her share and need someone to roll over to let you rub her waiting belly, this girl is your find. PS. I would love to be able to visit her from time to time if it's not too much trouble.
