About Gene

Hello, my name is Gene. My foster mom named me after Gene Simmons because we both have super awesome tongues. I'm missing a lot of teeth, (which is why my tongue sticks out). I was a stray for a long time and ate a lot of things I shouldn't (like rocks) which resulted in a lot of missing, fractured and impacted teeth. But, I've recently had multiple dental surgeries to fix all that! What I lack in teeth, I make up for in personality. I'm a total goofball and love to play and cuddle with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. I really enjoy going on long walks/hikes but would love cuddling up on the couch with you even more. If you're looking for an awesome companion, and don't mind a little slobber, I'm your guy! PACA is a foster based rescue with no shelter to view our dogs. We have temporarily stopped all our public adoption events due to COVID-19, however we are still placing dog into loving homes by private appointment with approved applications. Completed applications will be given to the foster to coordinate meetings as everyone feels comfortable.
