About Jay Jay

JJ is a mellow senior who wants to soak up all your love! He is approx 65/70 lbs and about 7or 8 years old. This housebroken, house respectful, chill dude is happy to take short walks, lay in the sun or lay on your couch. Generally quiet- but he will alert you when someone is at the door. He's currently living with two female senior dogs and is co-existing pretty well. He's met small dogs and got along great.He could certainly live with another dog that isn't in his face- he definitely prefers humans and will attach himself to you and be as loyal as they come- ** He previously lived with cats. Dog savvy cats would be fine He doesn't have any resource guarding of bones or toys but is fed separately from resident dogs (standard protocol of foster home). He doesn't mind being left in his gated area when foster leaves house, and he has been left free alone for short periods and just sits in window and waits. At night he sleeps in his gated area quietly until foster gets up in AM- He loves car rides JJ has your usual older dog ailments/arthritis which are controlled by meds which he should take for the rest of his life and will be offered to the new owner at a discounted rate- his fee is also donated we have more pictures and videos if interested In Stamford CT in foster apply at : pitstopny.org
