About Sadie

Sadie is our 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Greyhound mix. She loves to run laps around the yard and is happy to lay around the house as well. She is great with our kids (age 2, 7 and 9) 99% of the time. The only reason I'm reaching out here is because she bit our son. It didn't break the skin, and she only did it because he was taking away a chocolate chip cookie wrapper from her, but it happened regardless. Sadie is a lover of people she knows, and ferocious to anyone she doesn't. She had previously bit a stranger on a walk, and my sister-in-law who she knew but hadn't seen in a while. Unfortunately 3 strikes and she's out. My wife isn't the dog lover that I am, so she must find a new home or she will be put down. I really don't know what to say as this is shattering my world, but I know Sadie could be a great dog to someone, preferably someone who doesn't have guests over frequently.
