About Pippa

Please note, we are a Texas based rescue that transports our pups once they are adopted. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX, so much is known about their temperament, training level and personality. Thank you for wanting to adopt! Duchess Kate Middleton's sister, Pippa, made a splash at the Royal wedding in her 'little white dress '; My beautiful brindle coat is for real and mine alone ! I am a one and a half year old, very smooth and sleek, short haired Chiweenie. I am built like a Chihuahua, but have a beautiful brindle coat that I must have gotten from a dachsund ancestor! My foster mom says that I am the sweetest, little canine companion that she has ever seen! I am a petite little lady weighing only 8 lb. This means, you get all of the companionship and love of a remarkable canine companion with less clean up and less food. I am an action adventure girl. If you are an avid hiker, or jogger, I am your girl. I may be small in stature, but I am very active. My favorite activity is swimming! My favorite part of the day is when we all go on our walk down to the river. There are a lot of amazing sights snd smells on the ranch...including a ginormous animal called 'Horse'. Boy, do they smell funny. It is peaceful on the ranch with plenty of room for everyone! I love getting tummy scratches and always offer up a smile when Foster Mum comes into our living space! Foster mom says I am very low maintenance... Low maintenance is good, right? I can be nervous when meeting new people, but I am shy, not agressive. I know how to walk on leash, never mess in my living area and am working on my crate training. By nature, I am sweet, sweet, sweet but a bit of a shy girl upon first meeting. I do great with all of the other dogs, large and small, and also do fine with cats. A family of adults and older children is preferred because of my diminutive size. Small children don't mean to hurt small animals, sometimes they just squeeze a little too hard...ouch!! If you would like to add a touch of the Royal Family to your everyday life, I am your gal
