About Annie

Lab / Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Annie (Annie Bananie) is a dog that will steal your heart from the moment you meet her. %A0Full of energy and love, Annie gets along with everyone she meets, people and pups alike and they love her. While still young and learning, she loves to explore new environments and do what she can to make you happy.Hailing from rural West Texas, Annie's life started rough. With little to no structure, Annie has done quite well learning about life. She gets along with dogs of all sizes and only wants everyone to love her. She is quite the tomboy and loves to run and wrestle. Her current best buds are a 60lb shepherd and a 90lb mastiff mix. She knows when to be calm and when to play and listens well. She is still learning personal space and can sometimes annoy other pups but she listens well when corrected and is very submissive. She is crate trained and does well with waiting to go to the bathroom while in her kennel. She will sometimes tell you she has to go potty but tends to sneak away to go potty somewhere. She is very smart and will pick it up in no time once she is worked with a little more. She has been getting better with each day but will still have an accident here or there. She is a dog who loves to be entertained so when left alone, she will find things to%A0Due to her inquisitive nature and young personality, she is quite puppy like when she explores so its important to ensure that all potential exits to her secured yard/area are monitored as she will try to go on an adventure. She loves to belly crawl and will drag her legs up on to whatever she is trying to climb on rather than jump. She knows how to jump but just prefers this method. She is still learning how her body works and is somewhat clumsy so no need to be alarmed if she runs into the stairs rather than going up or her hind legs slip out from under her as she is running on a smooth floor. She is quite silly and playful so none of this seems to hold her back. Along with her clumsy nature, she likes to try to use her paws like hands and will try to hold your face as she lays on you. Due to her still learning how her limbs work, she tends to end up hitting you in the face but she is starting to learn to be gentle. I think she will be a wonderful addition to any family, however if you have small children, she could be a little rough since she is still learning boundaries/personal space. She does extremely well sharing with others. She currently free grazes on Holistic Adult/puppy and does not overeat. She will grab food 2-3 times a day and it is usually small doses. If another dog is aggressive and selfish with food, she will wait until it is her turn to eat. She does however love treats and bones and will take them with no issues.
