About Lizzie

Lizzie is an energetic, fun-loving sweet girl looking for an active family to make her life complete. Lizzie is believed to be a boxer/beagle and is medium in size, around 25 lbs and she is a year old. She is crate trained, house trained, knows sit & shake. She is good with other dogs but still needs to learn to listen to their cues more. She loves to play and romp with other dogs so a playful dog who is also tolerant will be best for her. Lizzie loves kids, but again she can be a bit much for smaller kids because she doesn't realize how easily they can fall over. She likes to travel and nap in the car. We are a dog only facility so we do not know how most of our dogs will be with cats. Even if a dog is surrendered to us and said to be good with cats there is no way to be sure the dog will be good with your cats. We do have a 7 day foster-to-adopt program so that you can see how the dog interacts with your cats before adoption.
