About MO

'MO' (and his siblings, 'Eenie' & 'Miney') are 19 week old Labrador Retriever mix pups which we rescued from a very high kill dog pound. (We think the mix may be German Shepherd). Mo is the largest of the trio, and presently weighs 42 lbs. A very handsome, goodnatured & loving boy, he is also playful & silly. Mo loves to have fun, loves people and attention, likes to cuddle, and is very eager to please. A home with children over the age of 6 yrs old would be optimal. Miney has been de-wormed multiple times, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, crate-trained and house-trained (though as a puppy, this will need to be reinforced as accidents can happen). (Mo is NOT 'neutered' yet, as he is too young and research has shown that early spay/neuter is a contributing factor to mid and later in life chronic health issues, such as ACL tears; hip dysplacia, even Cushing's disease). This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
