About Bruno

Bruno is a sweet older boy who LOVES to role in the grass! In fact, he loves it so much that he will stop the role and lay with his legs in the air! Bruno has some mild arthritis but has been doing well on Daququin and Carprofen as needed on colder days. Bruno loves the ladies (female dogs) - does not like his foster mom's male dog- but seemed okay with other male dogs in the past. Cats are an unknown. Bruno enjoys playing with his toys and occasionally will hide them! Older children should be fine for Bruno. We would love to see Bruno with a retired person or couple who enjoy leisurely strolls. He does not get on the furniture but does appreciate his dog bed. Bruno knows basic commands and walks like a gentleman on a leash. Neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Heart-worm negative. Crate trained. Bruno is approx, 8-9 years old and weighs approx, 98 pounds. ADOPTION DETAILS: All RHR available dogs live in foster homes. Each dog is spayed, neutered, (unless medically on hold) up to date on shots, dewormed, and microchipped. At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Raleigh, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $250, including a non-refundable $25 application fee. Fee can be paid using the 'DONATE' button on our website (www.RottweilerHeartsRescue.org) - please indicate in the notes that it is for an application fee, and the intended dog.
