About Tessie

Little Tessie is the cutest little girl around. She is around 2 years old and only weighs about 20lbs. She came to us from a high kill shelter from Texas and she is definitely one shy pup. Tessie does take a bit to warm up to her human family (she is especially timid around men) but it seems like other dogs really help her to come out of her shell (she would thrive in a multi-dog home). According to her foster family she is super sweet when she becomes comfortable in her surroundings. We are requiring that Tessie's future family have a fenced in yard to help assure her safety while she becomes comfortable and confident in her forever home. Tessie is dog friendly however with any multi-dog families we recommended following a two week shutdown to help ensure success in your adoption.
