Pete is a beautiful, small lab mix who would love nothing more than to find a home of his own. He was found as a stray running next to a highway. I chased him for 2 solid hours. He is as sweet as can be. He walks well on the leash and is crate trained. He will actually wait in the crate for you to put a leash on him before he comes out. He is great with dogs of all sizes, often submissive and is good with dog friendly cats. He only weighs 52 lbs so he is a medium sized dog. He is currently in Oklahoma but he can go on our next transport to the Northwest, where all of our adoptions happen. He is heartworm positive but treated and will test negative in 6-12 months). He is also neutered, microchipped, will have a fecal test done, dewormed, flea and tick treated, and current on vaccinations. He has to be pre-adopted and picked up directly from transport. Our standing pick up locations are Kennewick, Tukwila, and Tacoma in WA and Portland in Oregon but we can add stops anywhere along I80 in Wyoming, Salt Lake City, Twin Falls and Boise and anywhere along I84 through Idaho and Oregon, and anywhere along I5 going from Portland to LA. Pete deserves a loving home and deserves to get out of Oklahoma where he was destined to be a street dog and bound to be hit by a car one day. He will make a great buddy or family dog.
