About Radar

Please read entire description. Radar should be the only pet in the home. He needs a physically fenced yard. If his ad is still viewable, then we are still accepting applications. Please complete an application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is $150. Radar is a 2 year old St. Bernard mix. He's a lovable 60 pound hunk who is looking for a new home. He has co-existed sharing space with other pets in the home, but has recently decided he is worthy of 100% of all the attention and it is causing some problems that cannot be resolved. He would love a home where he can be doted on by his humans and have it all to himself. In meeting Radar, he can be very shy at first, but does warm up quickly. Radar knows some basic commands. He is house trained, crate trained, and loves to be right by his people. He has only known life with at privacy fenced yard but would likely do ok with a standard chain link fence. He would do just fine with children who know how to behave appropriately around dogs. We would recommend children over 8 just due to his inexperience. We would not recommend cats in a home with Radar. Radar romps and plays with other larger dogs and does well for short periods of time, but should be the only dog in the home ongoing. Radar is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
