About Cuca

Cuca is a 4 year old, female Doberman who is bonded with 7 year old Sophie, see her bio also. These two girls will need to be adopted together. Their owner had to move and could not find rental housing with two Dobermans, so chose to surrender them. Cuca is a very sweet, shy girl and a bit of a hot mess which will make finding her the right home even harder. She is overweight, has allergies and Von Willebrands disease. Cuca will need some work to get her weight down and her allergies could be regional (she is from Louisiana) Cuca is not spayed due to the Von Willebrands disease but we are currently working on raising funds so she can get this procedure done. Please read up on Von Willebrand's in Dobermans. Very common in Doberman breed but manageable. This disease can be costly if she should ever get injured, or need surgery, but not always, so she will need a very committed owner and vet that is knowledgeable. Cuca does great with people and other dogs, she truly is a gem who will fill your home with love and companionship. Adoption will require committment to both Cuca and Sophie as they are bonded.
