About Parker

Meet Parker, a one and a half year old Shepherd/Australian Kelpie mix that weighs about forty six pounds. He's being fostered in Bellingham. We have found Parker to be very loving & craving affection from humans. He crawled right in my lap with a toy for a snuggle on the first night. Parker seems to have lived in a home where there were other dogs. He also knows how to sit for treats. Parker likes to play fetch but is also happy with a good chew toy. We look forward to seeing his transition into a more confident dog in the coming days. Parker was found as a stray and brought in to the shelter by animal control in Yakima. He is a bit on the nervous side, flinching away from fast movement, towards his head so he would do best in a home with no young kids under age of eight.
