About Francine

Adoption Fee: $350
Dachshund / Chihuahua
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

This little girl is the sweetest Chi-weenie blend you'll ever find. Rescued from a hoarder in Texas, she came to us scared of EVERYTHING! Her first 24 hours she spent hidden under a bush in the backyard. We just let her come to us in her own time. At her next foster, she spent 2 days under the bed. And then he cooked Carnitas and they were best friends. She has come such a long way. Now we can see her great personality. She loves other dogs and probably cats. Children will be much too scary for her. She is and rarely barks. She is housebroken but will need a refresher in a new home. She does NOT walk on a leash yet so apartment living is not a good fit. Someone with time and patience can help her get over her fear of the outside world. She has gotten used to her harness. She just LOVES her people once she knows she can trust them. She will sit on your lap all day and she snuggles in at night. Francine will need patience, a soft voice, and a light hand. And then you will have a best friend for life! She would like a home with a small but secure yard and she would really like another dog to play with. She is approx 1.5 y/o and 13#. If interested in meeting Francine and you meet the requirements above, complete our application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms as the first step. We require the application, home and reference check and meet with everyone in the home. Francine's adoption fee is $350 and she is spayed, utd on vaccs and chipped. Note that we are not doing out of state adoptions right now.
