About Leroy

Leroy has been such an incredible member of our small family. Leroy was a stray so he definitely some time to get used to a new place, but after a few days, he really started coming out of his shell and making our home his own. He is extremely polite with people and other animals and we honestly can't imagine him hurting anyone. He does like to carry around dirty socks if you leave them lying around. Leroy loves attention and will be very sad if you don't make some time for him in a day, but that is fairly easy considering how sweet he is. He loves to look outside at cats, cars and children. He has been the baby of our house. The best part about him is that he goes around the house in the morning, demanding pets from everyone and making sure he says hi to every member. He is so gentle and patient with us, and nothing seems to annoy him. Everyday we see a new side of Leroy; just recently he has been zooming around the house when he gets excited. He absolutely loves going on walks and poops at least twice. He does not bark much except for when he is protective of the house and sees a cat or a squirrel. He whines when he is excited or curious or scared or wants attention. :D But the whining gets minimal once he gets used to the house. He does not like being in cars very much especially if the window is closed (we think that he is afraid of being let go or does not like being closed in). We want to find a forever home for Leroy where he gets all the love he deserves, and he will for sure make you feel special too! He is so ready to settle in with a family. We have not seen Leroy with children, but seeing how gentle he is, I am certain he would be a good companion. We think he would be great with other pets if he gets to spend some time with them and does not feel afraid. Leroy wants to be there for you if he thinks you need some love. He has filled our days with so much joy and his presence makes our days so much better. Leroy's breed mix is a guess, and he is estimated at about two years old.
