About George

Happy, Healthy (per vet visit), Super sweet, Well behaved puppy. George is about 10-12 months old. He was found on a hiking trail, likely got lost. He is likely a mix of Cattle dog, Aussie Shepherd, possibly Catahoula, and Rottweiler. He definitely has the Rottweiler sweetness and the Cattle Dog smarts. He is very sweet, smart, very friendly, eager to please and gets along well with dogs and cats. He is poised in public places and well behaved. He sat at an outdoor restaurant without begging or demanding attention. And was very well behaved in the pet store. Quite impressive for a dog so young. I think with proper training George would be a great service/ Companion dog. He likes being around his person He is likely moderately high energy. I only know him as a dog with a playmate and as such he is a very easy dog. He will need a home where he gets exercise. He likes children and even crawled under the gate a few times to play with my 6 year old neighbor. I think he'd be great with kids. I've fostered numerous dogs and George is special. In the right home he will make a super companion and addition to a person or family.
