About Susie & Willow BONDED

Rottweiler / Lab
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

IF YOU SEE THIS AD, THEY ARE STILL LOOKING FOR THAT FOREVER LOVE Susie has Dwarfism. DNA tests show she's Lab, Hound, Rottie & Chow. She looks like a mini Rottie but she's only 32 pounds and her front feet are deformed. Susie has never had a friend in her 3 1/2 years of life. We think the other dogs go after her because she's deformed. She walks funny and looks goofy when she runs but the doctors say that while there is no surgical fix for her feet, she will live a long and full life. Susie is a healthy, lovable, sweet girl. The man who owned her for 3 years left her with friends because his other dogs kept attacking her. The friends had their own dogs who also went after her so they dumped her at a kill shelter. Since Susie is deformed, she was deemed as unadoptable and scheduled for euthanasia. That's when we found her. When she got here, she met Willow. Willow is 10 months old and weighs 25 pounds. She was born in the woods and lived with a feral pack of dogs until she was trapped at 7 months of age. Willow never knew how to play - all she knew was survival. Willow was TERRIFIED in the county pound. Convinced that the humans were going to eat her, she buried her face in the corner and tried to hide for her entire 10-day stray hold. Any time someone tried to touch her, she urinated in fear. The poor puppy was deemed as unadoptable and scheduled for euthanasia. Then we found her. We had her DNA tested too just for fun and she's a true Heinz 57 all American mutt - a mix of 6 highly intelligent dogs. She's a super sweet pup and we're guessing she'll be about the same size as Susie when she's grown up. When we introduced the girls, Willow's extreme submissiveness worked in everyone's favor. She and Susie were playing with each other within two days. Now they never stop. Susie has helped Willow get over her fear of people and assisted in her training. And Willow has given Susie the first friend she's ever had in her life. We don't have the heart to separate them. We're looking for an Angel who has enough love for two puppies. Both girls are crate trained and housebroken. They're both spayed, chipped, vaccinated, and healthy. Neither of them wants to be outside much anymore. They prefer to do their business and come back indoors to the comfort of soft beds and warm blankies. Willow loves belly rubs and Susie loves to play tug. Long term, Susie would benefit from joint supplements but neither has any health issues. They just need someone with a big heart to open their home and offer them Happily Ever After TOGETHER. If that's you, PLEASE fill out our easy application here so we can talk with you about these two special girls %BD%BD%BD https://form.jotform.com/80595190554159 More pics & videos of them can be found on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/AngelsRetreatRescue
