About Joy

Joy certainly lives up to her name! She's the sweetest dog in the world. This happy little 1-year-old always gives you a great, energetic greeting whenever you walk in the door. A Rattie mix, who seems to have some Chihuahua in her family tree, Joy loves to play, chase after balls, and play hide-and-seek. After that, she'll still have enough energy for a couple of nice, long walks with you every day. Joy also enjoys playing with other well-mannered dogs who are close to her size (13 lbs.), but she can be afraid of bigger, very assertive dogs, and she's no fan of cats. She IS a fan of just about everything else, however, and that includes lounging in the sun outdoors in a fenced yard, having her tummy rubbed, and cuddling with you. Joy is house-trained as long as she gets outdoors several times each day. What a fantastic addition she would be to an active family with older children! Does that describe your family?
