About Daisy

German Shepherd
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer true! This sweetie is as a flower and she makes us smile! This little girl was found running in traffic by a Good Samaritan. She had a microchip and when the owner was contacted all they said was basically 'Yeah, she's mine, want a dog?' That's where we came in and we're so happy we had room for her. Daisy has a smile on her beautiful face nearly all the time. She is crate-trained, great on leash, loves to chase and catch balls, and loves to play. She's great with small dogs and large dogs. She is okay with her foster family's cat but should be introduced properly to other cats to be sure they are okay with her. She's near perfect. Her only flaw? She got out of her owners yard! So - we are looking for a herding-breed-savvy adopter for this love! She needs a job and she needs to be needed and kept thinking she's working and part of a pack. Daisy loves to play and will most likely make a great dog for kids BUT when she play she is very vocal and we understand that can be scary for some children. If you think this sweet and very smart girl could be what you need to make your family complete then read on or go directly to the adoption process page of our website, throwmeabonedogrescue..org, to apply. All potential adopters are expected to complete an application and provide pictures of their yard, patio, and/or balcony making sure we can see the fence line and/or railing. The application can be completed and submitted from our website - throwmeabonedogrescue.org - the link is found of the Adoption Process page. Applications will be reviewed for approval before setting an appointment to come meet and possibly adopt the dog of interest. In addition, those who live in a rental property are expected to provide proof that they are allowed to have a dog where they live. Each of our rescued dogs has been de-wormed if necessary, de-flea'd (with topical treatment if old enough, and by medicated bath if too young), spayed/neutered, microchipped, is up to date on shots, and has been fully examined by a veterinarian. In addition, each adopted dog comes with a starter baggie of the food it has been eating, a few treats for training purposes, a rawhide chew, a lead and collar, and a folder containing pertinent records.
