Rosco and Rabbit are the bonded pair and we are holding out to get them adopted together. They really complement each other and are stuck together like glue. Rabbit really looks up to his big brother. They zoom through the house together, eat together, sleep together, wrestle and play together. And two is always better than one! They are so much fun to watch and are so happy. Their adoption fee is $75 each and they have been vetted and neutered. They are good with other nice cats, no dogs, no young kids. Rosco and Rabbit have one thing on their mind and that is play play play and it's a show you don't want to miss. Besides zooming up and down the halls and up the cat tree they will pause to eat, drink and snuggle together in a cubby for a nap. Rosco is very long and lanky and beautifully marked. Rabbit is a little white albino rabbit with sky blue eyes. It hard to get pictures of how cute they are when they sleep together because as soon as their rescue foster parents open the door to their room Rosco rushes to greet them. Most kitties don't just go into a new home and own it, they need an adjustment period. Patience, love and space will be needed. Rosco will come around before Rabbit but Rabbit will feed off of Rosco's calmness and comfort in their new home which will encourage Rabbit. You cannot force them, that will scare them. Actually, you cannot force any cat, period. Rosco and Rabbit are more alike than we thought except after their adjustment period Rabbit will still be reluctant to approach or be approached until he further adjusts. They will both be playing, walking around and sleeping out in the open but Rosco is the willing one to come over for love and chin rubs and full body massages. He can also be found in the sink playing with the running faucet. He will follow you around, give you head butts. If he is really rowdy he will give you love bites and that's when you pick up an interactive toy for him to play with, not your hand. If you go to bathroom he is in there too. His internal alarm clock goes off about 5a.m. and he will expect to sleep with you. He is submissive and is social with his people and other cats. He is a lover not a fighter. He likes being babied and spoken softly to. Picking up a feather on a stick will win him over every time. They both do well with a slow approach. You can walk up to Rosco and pick him up but he is not fond of it. They are both totally non aggressive, no hissing or biting. Rabbit has been a slow starter as far as the human touch goes. He has been out in the open and will play and even sniff hands but was still leary to be touched. Its been four weeks and he allowed his rescue foster parents to pet him today! He arched his back and raised his butt and enjoyed some loving then ran out of reach but that is progress. He has come a long way and will learn more as time goes on. They are both energetic busybodies that love to explorer. Their activities will require a good size house not a small apartment. Rosco wants you to get down on the floor with him at playtime, which helps Rabbit too. They both need a cat tree and love to be up on it. They love windows to see the outside world, they seek out cabinets to open, check out and take naps in. Watch the Video! To see the collage picture go to cnps.petfinder.com click on 'view our pets' and scroll They are very clean kitties and use the litter box perfectly. Their favorite interactive toys are feather on a stick and shoe lace drag as well as the Fling ama String and the $2 'cat dancer' toys. They love a laser lite, turbo ball and catnip. They also use a rectangle corrugated scratcher that lays flat on the floor. They really do have good manners and are not destructive. They are free fed Cosco purple bag quality hard food (quality meaning the first ingredient begins with meat) and they like a few temptations treats throughout the day. We will eventually add a can of Fancy Feast morning and night. Below information is for preventative purposes'| Too many male AND female cats are getting the UTI - urinary tract infection and crystals in their urine. It's a blockage, it's painful and if ignored will lead to death. Vets say the hard food is at fault because it does not deliver enough liquids. It's simple to monitor. Just make sure there is at least one good size pee ball in the litter box a day. Kitty fountains are effective to help manage a cat's fluids. A diet of good quality canned food pate is better than dry food however there are some dry foods that are pH balanced and help maintain Urinary Tract - UT health like Blue Buffalo, Purina Pro Plan, Purina One UT health, Iams UT health. AVOID FISH! Cats/Kittens are an 18 year commitment! They need a cat tree, love and an inside home ADOPT Rosco and Rabbit FOR LIFE! CNPS text 602-332-6615 email [email protected]
