He weighs 14.8 pounds and still has some growing to do. Flick is a 4 1/2 month old terrier mix who was saved from the county shelter with his brother and sister, all three very infested with ticks. They were saved the moment our staff saw them, taken straight to the shelter and the process of deticking was started. Flick and his siblings each had hundreds of ticks covering and hiding all over their little bodies, causing great concern for the many medical issues ticks can cause for young pups, so all 3 pups saw the vet their first morning with us. After making sure they are all healthy, well fed & tick free they are now finally ready for their forever homes. Flick is a sweet boy who is shy at first with new humans, but very outgoing with other dogs. He would do well in a home with gentle and mature children. He would also be happy to meet a canine companion as he has always had his siblings for companions/playmates. Flick is a young boy with lots of growing left to do, so he will need patience and training from his forever family. Flick would love a home with a yard to run in. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee of $350 includes a free vet visit. To potentially adopt him come to our shelter location at 1102 W Hatcher Rd in Phoenix 85021, open Tuesday to Sunday 11am to 6pm. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
