Diego is a sweet but very shy boy when meeting new people. Diego takes a while to come around and will need a patient family who will gently love him while he comes around. Diego will need a mature home of adults and dog savvy teens. He would benefit from a confident but calm canine companion. Diego loves his people, but can be a bit of an escape artist. Diego has been known to dig and jump, so he will need a home with a very secure yard and a high fence. He will need to be watched while he adjusts. Diego is in need of training, including house training, in his forever home. Diego weighs 15 pounds full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and vet checked. His adoption fee of $280 includes a free vet visit.
