Hank is a good boy, but a wild child who will need lots of love but just as much direction. Hank has been learning in private training with Zen K9 & his adopter will get 3 private training classes to catch up with what Hank has learned. Hank is looking for an adult home with a lots of patience and a strong leader with a gentle heart. He does best when someone is home more often than not to work with him daily. Hank loves to go swimming and needs an enthusiastic human who will help him gain his confidence and make him feel at home. He does great with other dogs, but is a strong and very energetic boy, so he needs to meet dogs who can handle his size and energy before adoption. Hank will need a home with a yard to run and play in. No apartments or rentals with weight or breed restrictions. Hank walks like a gentleman on a leash and enjoys walks. He loves toys and playtime is his favorite time. Hank is very food motivated, but at meal times he MUST be fed in his closed kennel as he is very protective over his food. Hank is a bulldog who is stubborn as a bull, so bulldog experience in his home would be very helpful. Hank is a very strong and sturdy 40 pounds and is full grown. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, vet checked and microchipped. His adoption fee of $400 includes a free vet visit. Hank will be available as a foster to adopt, to potentially foster and adopt Hank, please send an application (https://azsmalldog.org/adoption-forms/) to [email protected]. --Covid update: To adhere to CDC guidelines, we are open for adoptions only at a max capacity of 15 people in the building at a time.
