About Lilly

Hi! I'm Lilly. A 2yr old spunky beauty. I've been with the rescue for most of my life at this point and I'm quite ready to find my forever. So what do you need to know about me to make this happen? Let's see. I'm a young girl so I have a lot of life left to live - if you're looking for a companion for the next many years, I could totally be it! I'm a boxer mix so I have some quirks that you'll come to love. I'm a big girl, so I really like someone on the other end of the leash that isn't afraid of my size or to be my leader. I am learning to be good with other dogs that like to play and are tolerant of my lack of sophistication. I still have some debutante etiquette lessons to learn. I come with a 'coach' who has taught me some manners and will be a great resource for us; the 1st session is on the rescue because they know what a great resource that is. I love to play ball. I can be a very good cuddler. I'm tolerant to costumes. Ok, maybe more than tolerant. I might admit I love them. Can be timid with strangers. Takes longer to warm up to men. Would be good in a home with older children (10+ years of age). If you have a dog that is young, medium-to-large sized and likes to play but is tolerant of Lilly's close talking, in your face personality - please apply! New family must be willing to do slow integration if there are existing pets in the household. Please no small or senior dogs. No cats.
