About Riley

HUDSON, FLORIDA (hour North of Tampa) - Riley - 3 yr old breeding female saint bernard that was TRULY RESCUED from being sold to just anyone on Craigslist. Family adopted her to save her from being sold to just anyone. This girl has been through so much. THIS IS A TRUE RESCUE. She has been living with a male saint and female saint. They are playful and getting along. BUT RILEY NIPS WHEN ANY OTHER DOG IS GETTING ATTENTION IN THE HOUSE. SO SHE WOULD BE BEST AS THE ONLY DOG. RILEY is a giant love bug with adults and children!! She loves her people and will come over to you and turn around and sit on your foot. She just wants love and her walks. She is the best walking dog. We think she was never walked or out of a cage/yard until rescued and she is making up for lost time. She adores attention and car rides too. She get so Gleeful walking with her owner on a leash. Never goes after any animals and simply ignores them. She originally (1st day) was not having the foster's male saint greet her (probably due to all the force breeding she had to go through). But now, they go on walks and play in the backyard together. Perhaps an experienced home with a large loving male would be a perfect fit. No idea on little dogs nor cats. She is doing great with the the female saint bernard who is a giant puppy and very playful but Riley will snip at her when she gets in Riley's face or behaves rudely. Also, after Riley gets spayed, surely she will be even more tolerant. She had a horrible scare across her nose, but healing quickly and her coats in growing back and she is looking and acting happier and healthier every single day. She had her vet appointment and was cleared as healthy gal ready for her new home. We have a spay scheduled for her, but vet cannot get her in until Oct. 20. I will pay for her spay if you adopt her prior to that. SHE IS FREE TO AN AMAZINGLY LOVING HOME. This gal has flourished with LOTS OF LOVE AND ATTENTION AND HIGH QUALITY FOOD, which is the key to any healthy dog.
