About Benny

Welcome Benny to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 2-year old dog. He has the extra dew claw on his back legs. This suggests he has Great Pyrenees. He has a black tongue so they think Chow and since he looks lab he may have Labrador too. He is nice on a leash, potty trained and decent in his crate here at the rescue. He is not too vocal and seems more on the independent side. He would need a fenced yard or would probably do ok in an apartment with an active owner. He is not all that energetic but he will need his exercise for mind and body happiness. He came from Kerr County Animal Control which is a kill facility. We have some wonderful volunteers that keep their eye out for dogs with nice temperaments looking for good homes. CCPAL takes lots of dogs from this facility. He is healthy, getting new vaccinations and will be neutered and ready for his forever home soon. He isn't clingy and will do good with 10 years or older kids and someone looking for an independent companion dog. His adoption fee is 250 and transport is 185.
