Hank is a 3 1/2 old male mixed breed between Great Pyrenees and Australian Cattle Dog as far as we know. His exact weight is unknown, perhaps around 90-100 lbs (he is a little overweight). I adopted Hank when he was 7 or 8 weeks old and he has spent his life as an indoor/outdoor dog with a fenced yard and is house trained. He is a long haired double-coated dog that requires frequent brushing, but is beautiful when properly maintained. The main reason that I have come to the difficult decision of rehoming Hank is because he does not like children. I have 3 in my home and he tolerates them, but anytime children come over he must be secured, and we have other children around quite frequently. I am afraid that it is not a safe situation for him or the children. Hank is a very sweet and loving dog with me, and seems to tolerate other adults well. He loves to play and go for walks and hikes, loves car rides and swimming, and LOVES snuggling and pets.He generally just loves being around his person, though he is also very protective of his person(which has been me). Hank seems to get along fine with most dogs, just some trouble with sharing food or toys. He is a wonderful dog, just unfortunately not suited for our home and lifestyle with kids.
