About Delta Dawn

***Adoption Pending*** Delta Dawn arrived to HOHR just 3 days before giving birth to her 7 puppies! She has been an amazing mother but now it's time for her to live the retired life and find a home of her own! Delta is around 3 years old, and our best guess is a Collie/Husky mix(45lbs). Her foster mom says 'your heart will melt when you meet her!'. She was loved at some point as already knows sit, lay, and shake, as well as walking great on a leash. She is potty trained, crate trained, and will require a fenced in yard. She has been great with her furry foster pack (big and small) and is even good with the cats! Someone will be very lucky to scoop this girl up! Delta will be spayed, UTD on vacc., microchipped, and kept on monthly flea/tick/ hw preventatives. Once your application is approved, we will put you in touch with the dogs foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the pet. This dog is fostered in Kansas City, MO and adopter must drive to pick up. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
