Melony is a very low-maintenance girl...give her some attention, a little love and a soft bed and she will be so thankful. And the best of both worlds...once she comes out of her shell, she will show you her Mastiff zoomies! And yet the next minute will calm right down and be just fine relaxing next to you, preferably in your lap. What is better than an 80lb lap dog?! Once she learns to trust you, she will show you her true colors and cute quirks, which include doing somersaults when she gets to go for car rides, and literally burying her bone. Her superpower is that she will heel perfectly when walking! It is really fun to see and to feel that unspoken connection with a dog. When walking out in public, over time she will learn that it's a safe place to walk or run next to you on leash, and that she doesn't need to be scared of new surroundings. A physically strong leader would be best as she can be quite powerful and can spook easily with loud noises. Miss Melony would love to be the only dog in your home. She can tolerate being socially-distanced around other dogs, but tells us that she is not OK with dogs coming too close. Being an only dog can create such an incredible bond between human and dog, it is something that can sound difficult, but can actually be a very positive thing. Working from home these days?
