Hail Mary post going out with a prayer that the right angel is reading it right now and can save Tyson! Hi...my name is Tyson. I am 9 years old and was dropped off at a scary shelter by my family. Yes, my family! Why would they do that? They had lots of nice things to say about me...protective, active, quiet, calm, good with men, good with women, lived with kids, lived with cats, come when called. Doesn't that make me a pretty good boy?? I do have some food guarding issues, but we've always worked it out. Now I'm scared and reactive in the scary shelter and about to lose my life!! I need a foster and rescue who will save my life! I don't deserve to die!! Per Owner -- protective, active, quiet, calm, playful, good with men, good with women, comes when called, aggressive around food, walks well on a leash, destruction - scratches/digs. Good with family members 5-9, haven't seen him interact with many kids outside the family. grew up with a cat who passed away around 2 years ago. resource guarding // will let owner take a food bowl away from him, but growls when anyone else tries to touch his food. owner never really had to deal with it. they fed him outside, so he didn't regularly have issues unless someone had to take food from him, which wasn't very regular. Went to training classes when he was a puppy. Hasn't ever bitten people, has killed a squirrel and a raccoon that came into the yard before, but not recently. listens well, follows instructions. Good on leash. Knows sit, lay, back up.
