About MILO

Courtesy Posting: MILO Fontana, So Cal Milo is a young, gorgeous red purebred chow who is almost now 2 years old and in need of a new home that is very chow savvy since he has become very protective of his owners. Adopted as a young puppy by a family with no prior experience with chows, they did not socialize him with other people unfortunately from a young age. He is extremely loving with his family who has young children and loves to cuddle and give kisses, but he ended up biting a guest who was rough housing with one of the kids. A second bite just occurred when a guest went to give him a piece of chicken. His current owner loves him but feels that he needs to go to either a rescue or a home with no kids who is more chow savvy and can work with a trainer perhaps so he does better with others. Milo has been good with another dog he has known but has not been around many other dogs since they do not take him out. He was just neutered and is up to date on shots, and is potty trained. He must be adopted in person, we cannot send dogs to people who are not already backed by a rescue group.
