About Bane

Adoption Fee: $400
Boston Terrier
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Bane is 3 1/2 years old born on 11/10/2016. He is very smart and knows his toys by name and loves to play. He knows many commands and even knows hand commands as well. Bane has never met a person or animal he didn't like. He is ACA certified and comes with paperwork. He honestly is the best dog I've ever owner and it saddens me to even have to find him a new home. We recently had a baby and a month after her coming home he stopped eating normally and started refusing food along with having diarrhea. He has been to 3 vets 2 which chalked his issue as Anxiety/stress from the baby gave us anti-diarrhea meds and probiotics and sent us home. The 3rd vet has done multiple test (blood work/x-ray/maldigestion profile/ultrasound) and found nothing but slightly elevated pancreatic enzymes. He has been treated for pancreatitis but still refuses food. He is eating minimal amounts of dog food with no known cause of his inappetence. His demeanor hasn't changed much. Still active and plays and seems for the most part happy but does get jealous of others getting attention other then him especially the baby. We have spent everything we have and sadly can't keep affording vet visits to find an answer especially with having a newborn and euthanasia is not an option when he other then refusing food is healthy as far as the vet is concerned. I really want him to go to a great home with a fenced in yard and someone who has the finances to continue his vet care to find an answer.
