About Juniper

Juniper, aka Junie, is a gentle, quiet soul. When she's extra happy, she smiles at you with that silly dog smile and crinkled upper lip. June melts her big head into your hands and paws at you softly if you stop petting her before she's satisfied. Junie loves spending lots of time in the yard. In her foster home, she has no problem being left home alone, no resource guarding, and great house manners. Junie loves her small dog foster siblings and gives them lots of careful sniffs and licks. She's not sure about bigger dogs - sometimes they're fun, but sometimes they can be a little overwhelming - she would be comfortable with an easygoing big dog. One of Juniper's front paws looks different than the others from a birth defect, but that's the foot she's always had and it doesn't stop her from walking and running around. Junie would love to find a home with a yard, a dog friend to help her learn the ropes of living indoors, and a slower-paced family to give her the love she never received living on the streets. She's approx 3 years old and is a Pyrenees or Akbash mix. Junie is in foster in Centennial and her adoption fee is $400.
