About Katie

This is Katie! Katie is about 1 year old, weighs about 46 pounds and she has beautiful hazel soulful eyes!! FHDR rescued Katie from a high kill shelter in SC and she is now living in a foster home in NJ. She is settling in nicely and she is getting lots of TLC, healthy food and treats and a comfy bed. Her foster families says Katie is calm and very sweet. She enjoys being outside and going for walks (she walks great on the leash). And, she likes it when you throw the ball for her. Although Katie is docile 80% of the time, she still is puppy-ish. She will get very excited and jump and she will get the zoomies. LOL! This sweet pup has a stuffed, fuzzy toy that she carries around and she will bring it to her bed and cuddle. It's so adorable! Katie is quiet and doesn't bark very much. But, if you talk to her, she will repond with a quiet whimper. Katie likes being with us and hanging out. She is people friendly and she seems to be good with other dogs. She loves getting petted and being loved. Katie is a gentle, quite, curious girl! Katie would like a home with a fenced in yard and a family that will take her for walks. We are sure when you meet Katie, you will fall in love with her! English Labradors are blockier and with a wider built, shorter legs, calmer and more docile than American Labs. Again just a guess!
