[Read About Natural Cancer Care] EVIE is 10 yrs old according to the shelter but our vet thinks closer to 8 yrs old, she weighs 19 lbs and she is a Minpin/Doxie mix with a tri-color coat and a lightly frosted face. I personally think that she has one of the sweetest faces and demeanor's that I've ever seen in a dog. She is absolutely a true love. Evie facts: When our rescue pulled Evie we were told that she had two masses, one on her stomach and one on her rear hock which were removed and biopsied. The one on her rear leg (hock) was a benign growth but sadly the one on her stomach was a mast cell grade 3 cancer. We did follow-up blood work and x-rays and there is no sign of metastasis anywhere at this time. This is a cancer that can come back but every dog is different so we can't say definitively that it will but we also can't say that it won't. We have her on three supplements to try to keep her healthy and anyone adopting her would need to agree to keep her on those as well. As her rescue, we will always be here to take her back if the adopter can no longer care for her and we are also willing to help with her supplements if the cost is prohibitive to the adopter. If she doesn't get adopted she will always have a home with our foster but we would love to get her into her own forever home so we are willing to help if needed. Supplements: 1.
