About Jamie

Meet Jamie! Jamie is about six months old, beautiful, loveable, Labrador / Husky Mix. He currently weighs around 50 pounds, is potty trained, neutered, microchipped, and current on all of his vaccinations. Most of his growing is done, but according to the vet, he might grow a little taller and add on some weight to go with the height. He is pretty good on a leash, but not perfect. He does tend to look around and check for the person walking him. On walks, he likes to stop and interact with other people and dogs. He appears to be submissive with bigger dogs especially. He's friendly to people on the street and to those who come into the house. We believe that he would be best with children 8 or older since he hasn't been around young children. Jamie knows some basic commands, like 'sit' and 'down' for sure and, working on 'leave it' and 'wait'. He is still but a puppy, so he does like to chew and therefore needs some chew toys. If he picks up something inappropriate, like a shoe, he holds it in his mouth, waits, or sometimes looks back to see if he is ok. He will let go when told to 'drop it'. This lovebug rides great in the car and is super affectionate. He would be amazing with a family and a house with a yard to run and play in.
