About Cooper

We are at an all time record for adopting or placing dogs with rescues as each dog spends an average 30-day stay at the shelter. That's pretty awesome!!! In some cases, and for reasons beyond our understanding, some dogs get stuck for a while longer. It's the case for our longest resident, Cooper, who has been with us since early August. He is such a great boy, we don't understand why nobody has snatched him up yet. If you're having a hard with how 2020 has been going and you need a pick-me-up, he is your boy. Cooper is ALWAYS happy to be around his humans and would make a dedicated and faithful companion. Just look at that face and heart-shaped markings. Even though he hated the hat and is about halfway through his painful heatworm treatment (costs covered by Friends of Marshall County Animals), he still put on a smile for the pictures.
