About Bear

This is Bear. He is a 1 year old Pomeranian/Jack Russel mix loaded with energy. He and his 2 other siblings got surrendered to us after living outside only. Bear is crate trained by now but has never been living in a real home. He is smart and will learn quickly. He is depending on his brother and will act a bit shy. He doesn't really know what it feels like to be loved on. He would do best in a home as an only dog so he will attach faster to a human pack instead of leaning on the companionship of other dogs. This little guy weighs 18 lbs and is a bundle of fun and energy. He has quite a voice on him and needs training. He gets overly excited and will jump on you but calms down quickly and let you cuddle him. He is definitive a cutie and has so much potential. He would need a home with a fenced in yard as he is still learning to walk on the leash and due to his voice and barking an apartment is not a good fit. He would need a taller fence as he can jump quite high. He is great with other dogs, people and kids. Not sure about cats. He wouldn't be a good fit for a first time dog owner but someone who has had dogs before and has the patience to house train would be great. An active person/family would be best so he can get exercised and mentally stimulated. he wants to play and run. We do NOT have a shelter in MA but have weekly transport available for our pups to relocate up north with their new forever families. Since a meet and greet is not possible prior to adoption, our adopters make their decision to adopt based on pictures, videos and talking to the foster parent once your application is submitted. Bear's adoption fee is $ 475 which includes transport cost, traveling certificate, all vaccines, heartworm test, neuter and micro chip.
