About Jolie

Meet Jolie! This sweetie is 5.5 lbs and guessed to be about 1.5 years. Jolie came to us from Animal Rescue Corp's Operation Fresh Air- where she has been living in a trailer with 40+ other dogs in deplorable conditions (https://www.facebook.com/164981283535202/videos/704870600303536). She gets along with other dogs, is playful, crate trained and does well at using pee pads or going outside to potty. Typical of many chihuahuas she takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she does she is your BFF. She is currently living with a dog savvy toddler and she has learned to avoid him, but due to her fearful nature we don't think she would be a good fit for a home with children. We are told she is a 'handful' at the vet, but we have not witnessed this oursleves since we are not allowed in right now due to COVID restrictions. She hasn't really been leash trained, but we think she could learn leash walking with some time and patience. Jolie's adoption donation of $300 helps cover the cost of her medical care. She has been spayed, had a dental, and is current on distemper, rabies, and heartworm and flea/tick prevention. Application, reference checks, and home visit required.
