Ginger has been a emotional companion dog to our youngest son who has Asperger syndrome. He, our son, is dealing with some health issues that doesn't allow him to care for her any longer. We are unable to take her on as we are in a rental which does not allow for animals. She has been around small children however, due to her age and size, becomes stressed in an environment where the children constantly reside. She would do well as a loving lap dog to an older human environment.
